Warren G. Magnuson Park - Native Plant Border Hedgerow …03/07/2020

Activities

Maintain the Native Plant Border, the hedgerow around the Magnuson Community Garden and learn about native plants while working. Perhaps it should have been called the wild plant border ---so some work will involve removing exotic invasive plants and weeding. There may also be some trimming of shrubs along path edges and may also be some work moving and spreading wood chip mulch. Depending on availability there may also be planting at autumn and winter work parties. Advance approval of leader is required for youth groups and children below high school age.
