Judge Charles M. Stokes OverlK - Inaugural bramble pull at …09/12/2025

Activities

Needed: a small, dedicated group to break in a new GSP restoration site AND a brand new GSP Forest Steward! Our task is to cut and dig into a big blackberry bramble toward the eventual goal of freeing the princess (a beautiful restored park) within! Youth 8 years old and up are welcome. Younger children please hold off until we've done some of the initial site prep.

Adults only

11 out of 8 participants registered.

What to Bring

Long sleeves, long pants and sturdy close-toed shoes are a must! Bring a water bottle and a snack. Dress for the weather conditions. Work gloves and tools will be provided. There is a restroom about 1/4 mile away from the site.

Where to Meet

Meet at the Charles M. Stokes Overlook sign on S. Judkins St. at the T intersection with 21st Ave. S. If you are late, look for us at our worksite 100 yards west of the sign.
