Join Dirt Corps this October as we prepare for Green Seattle Day planting in this section of the West Duwamish Greenbelt. We'll be removing non-native weeds (looking at you blackberry!) from our restoration area and applying mulch to bare ground to make way for new native plants to be planted on Green Seattle Day (October 25th). We hope to see you there!

What to Bring

Please bring with you what you will need to be comfortable whilst spending a few hours working outside. Dress in clothed layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers.
Remember to bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, or any other accessories to protect yourself from the elements.
Remember that blackberry thorns are sharp and can snag clothing, and that the terrain may be uneven and/or wet.
We will be providing gloves and tools for all to use, as well as snacks, hot drinks, and water.
