College Street Ravine - College Street Ravine / …06/06/2026

Activities

A group of neighbors will be working on removing invasives (blackberry, ivy, clematis, holly, etc) and potentially finishing some trail building that the scouts are doing in the coming weeks, spreading wood chips along the length of the trail.

All ages OK

3 out of 30 participants registered.

What to Bring

Bring gardening tools if you have favorites you like to work with (pruners, loppers, shovels, etc.), otherwise we'll have some to use. The greenspace will be in peak growth come June, so the area will feel more crowded with growth than it does now, which may make getting into area of need a bit of a task. Much oof the work can be done along the side of the trail however. Nettles will be present, so wear long pants and we'll try to knock them down where we'll be working.

Where to Meet

We can meet on the east end of the greenbelt at the 48th Ave entrance.

Where to Park

Most neighbors will likely be walking over, if you're driving over you can park in the neighborhood and come in either entrance.
