Activities

The brambles are gone, the prickly part completed, now we're after the roots! Join us to dig out blackberries and remove weeds in preparation for planting a wonderful assortment of native plants this Fall.

What to Bring

Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy closed-toe shoes. This area is largely shady, but don't forget the sunscreen! Bring a water bottle -- snacks provided! We'll have tools and gloves for everyone.

Where to Meet

We'll gather along the main path on the east side of the lake, where Kirkwood Place North intersects with East Green Lake Way N. -- we'll have some signs posted on the path. Metro Bus 62 gets you very close to our site, stopping on Kirkwood at North 59th.

Where to Park

Lots of street parking on Green Lake Way and adjacent neighborhood streets.
