Join us in tucking in some new small native species to our planting beds at Gateway Park North along with Georgetown Youth Council! All experience level welcome!

What to Bring

Please bring with you what you will need to be comfortable whilst spending a few hours working outside.

Dress in clothed layers for the weather, and consider bringing additional dry, insulating, or waterproof layers. We encourage participants to wear long sleeves, long pants, and sturdy closed-toed shoes.

Remember that blackberry thorns are sharp and can snag clothing, and that the terrain may be uneven and/or wet.

We will be providing gloves and tools for all to use, as well as snacks, hot drinks, and water.
