Seattle Forest Week is November 7th - 15th!
Plant a forest and grow community! This is the time of year we get together with our neighbors and kick off tree planting season. From creating wildlife habitat, to combating climate change, and providing a place for resident to recreate: having a hand in Seattle Forest Week is one of the best ways to give back to your neighbors, parks and your local forest.
Join the fun and be one of the hundreds of volunteers across the city planting native groundcovers that will become future forest of Seattle. All community members are welcome, and no experience necessary. these events are family friendly and open to all ages.

What to Bring

Come dressed for the weather (rain or shine) in clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (rubber boots, hiking shoes or boots), long sleeves, long pants, warm layers and rain jacket. We'll have tools and gloves for you to use. help reduce waste by bringing your own water bottle.

Meet across from Waterway 18 and the Seattle Outriggers Canoe Club along the lower section of the Burke Gilman trail

Plenty of parking is available along N. Northlake Way, between Gas Works Park to Waterway 17.
