Discovery Park - Junes Cathedral Blackberry Management09/23/2026

Activities

Join us as we continue working on clearing out the Himalayan Blackberry from this small sunny meadow. We've already rescued a Garry Oak and a Western White Pine, several Osoberry bushes, and partially freed a Douglas Fir - all planted presumably by a work party some years back. Who knows what else we might find as we continue the effort?

Adults only

0 out of 12 participants registered.

What to Bring

- Boots or close-toed shoes, long pants, long sleeves
- Gloves if you have a favorite pair, otherwise I have some loaners
- Dress for the weather
- Snacks and water. We will take a water break halfway through the event.

Where to Meet

Let's meet at the bike rack at the W Emerson St entrance.

Where to Park

The south parking lot is a 5 minute walk from our meeting place, so that's the best place to park. Street parking is limited.
