Activities

For several years volunteers have reforested the beautiful natural area hillsides above Mapes creek. To maintain the newly planted native species, we will sweep through restored areas to remove re-emerging threats like ivy and blackberry thereby liberating native plants. Volunteers can learn about native species and PNW forest ecology if they are interested.
