Join us to dig deeper into the long history of the land we are stewarding. We'll hear from indigenous tribal leader Ellany Kayce who will share about the indigenous relationships with specific Seattle Parks and engage in a follow-up conversation on how to be an ally with indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest.

Where to Meet

This workshop will be not be at the Jefferson Horticultural Center. I am unable to select this NEW location in CEDAR.

The workshop will be held at the 2100 Building in the Rainier Valley neighborhood in Community Room B.

I'll send a more detailed message to all participants about the location closer to the date.

Where to Park

The 2100 Building is located on 24th Avenue South between South Hill and
South Walker St. It is one block east of Rainier Avenue South, in the same neighborhood as Remo Borracchini’s Bakery, and Mutual Fish.

On-street parking is available in the surrounding area, and in a street-level garage accessed through the alley. They also provide parking in the fenced area across the street from the building next to the pharmacy.
