Join the Washington Native Plant Society Forest Stewards in a weeding party in Northacres Park’s central forest. A healthy stand of beautiful Douglas Fir needs help fighting off the encroaching blackberry, ivy, and other invasive plants. With planting season right around the corner, there's a lot of work to be done!

What to Bring
Please wear long sleeves and pants to protect against the thorns, along with closed-toe shoes, and water and snacks to keep you energized.
Where to Meet
To find us, park in the northwest parking lot, off 1st Ave NE, and head toward the picnic tables, then on toward the trees. We'll be the folks in orange vests.
