Seward Park - Tree Planting in Seward …12/22/2018

Activities

We have young saplings to plant around Seward Park. We need eager volunteers to help restore & reforest select parts of the park. We'll also help restore the forest floor with under-story shrubs off the Andrews Bay trail, especially the "social trail" erosion caused by off-trail visitors, with a goal of closing the social (unofficial) trails.

We'll be planting firs, willows, alders and madrone trees.

Although we'll demonstrate how to correctly plant temperate rainforest trees & shrubs, please review this video before coming to this event - click here

This will be a fun event, thank you for coming out to help Seward Park continue to thrive.
