Join us for some glorious planting in the New Year. We will move mulch to get warmed up and then carefully plant a variety of trees and ground cover plants. Join our team of enthusiastic volunteers and expect a fun and rewarding day supporting biodiversity in the Northacres forest.

What to Bring

Please bring enthusiasm, a water bottle and dress in weather appropriate layers including rain gear and shoes or boots that you don't mind getting dirty. Gloves, tools and coffee/tea and snacks are all provided. Bring snacks/lunch if you have dietary preferences/restrictions.

Where to Meet

Look for our table just north of the playground between the spray park/basketball hoop and the playground restroom.

Where to Park

Park in the playground lot off of 1st Ave. NE just south of NE 130th St.

Metro line routes 345 and 346 stop at Meridian Ave N and N 122nd St. about 4 blocks from Northacres Park
