We would like to invite you to attend this ceremony at T107 which includes a special welcome by the Duwamish Tribe, and includes speakers on a variety of topics concerning the health of our watershed and Puget Sound. There will also be a fair throughout the day with activities, informational booths and a food truck that you are invited to attend. Please review the special parking instructions for the lot next to Herrings House, if you are bringing a vehicle. We encourage you to carpool. .
It should be a beautiful day along the river and a great event. After the event you may want to check out the Duwamish Long House across the road.
Thank you again, and we will see you on Saturday,

Thank you for helping our orca by restoring vital salmon habitat along the Green-Duwamish River. Our orca are struggling because of the lack of their main food source - salmon, especially Chinook. The Green-Duwamish River system is one of the main sources of salmon for the orca, providing habitat for all 5 salmon species. Herrings House Park provides critical salmon habitat for juvenile salmon before they enter Puget Sound. Please join us in maintaining this habitat for our salmon and orca. Duwamish Alive! Earth Day
American Rivers has again listed the Green-Duwamish River as the 4th most threatened river in our nation. Your efforts throughout the year in improving its health are critical is saving this watershed!
