Come join Friends of Colman Park (www.colmanpark.org for more info) for a few hours of pulling invasive species from a section of Colman Park as a part of a larger restoration effort. We will be targeting aggressive invasive weeds for removal to help ensure the restoration of native species in our urban parks. We will spend this event in the beautiful surroundings of upper Colman woods that sit alongside a community garden surrounded by urban forest.

What to Bring

Weather appropriate clothing, gloves (leather is best since many plants have thorns), and any water/snacks you may want.

We meet in Upper Colman Park, near the P-patch shed.

We encourage you to enter the park at the upper entrance along 31st Ave S. and then walk down to the meeting location in the parks interior. Follow signs down the stairs to the meeting location
