DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:The Duwamish River is home to the critical Chinook salmon that our Southern Resident Orca rely upon, Join us in restoring and maintaining salmon habitat along the lower Duwamish River.  We will be mulching, removing invasive weeds and just enjoying a beautiful day along Seattle's only river, while also learning about the historic significance of this area.  Afterwards cross the street to the Duwamish Longhouse and learn more about the Duwamish People's who have lived here for thousands of years.
