Camp Long - Seattle Forests: Tree Health …08/05/2019

Activities

Trees are essential to the long-term health of our natural areas and critical to the success of our restoration work. In recent years, mortality rates have increased in some species of trees like the Western Redcedar. Join Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Arborist, Christopher Rippey, and Tree Solutions Arborist/Woodland Park Forest Steward, Katherine Taylor, to learn what makes forests healthy or unhealthy and how to recognize when there’s a problem with tree health at your restoration site.
