SUMMARY: Event Martin Luther King Day Greenbelt Restoration Work Party (North Beacon Hill)
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:All WWU Huxley School of the Environment alumni, their families and other interested individuals are invited to participate in this Martin Luther King National Day of Service forest restoration work party. The work party is also a celebration of the 50th year of WWU’s Huxley School of the Environment. The volunteers will focus on maintenance work such as removing leaves and wood chips from around each plant and removing the blackberry vines and other invasive plants that are coming up in the previously planted areas. We may also clear new parts of the site. Every volunteer will be making an important contribution to making this land a beautiful forest once again.Come join the fun!
