Seward Park - Planting, mulching, trail maintenance ...12/04/2019

Activities

A mix of activities for forest volunteers in Seward Park. Closing social trails and other trail maintenance. Planting shrubs, sedge grasses, skunk cabbages (they're not smelly!), ferns and other forest floor plants. No experience necessary, we'll teach you everything you need to know. Come get wet & dirty and enjoy a weekday in Seward Park. In this part of the park, we often see pileated woodpeckers (and from time to time, hear the howls of the local coyotes).

Sorry, no children at this event.
