SUMMARY: Event Martin Luther King Day Magnuson Reforestation
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Help create and improve thriving replacement forest and habitat on what had been a denuded and sterile Naval Air Station. The work will include removing invasive plants to prepare for new plantings of native trees, shrubs, and ground cover plants in later months. It is a chance to do rewarding work with lasting impact. It will create healthy forest habitat and increase beneficial ecosystem services including provision of human enjoyment and health. It is also an opportunity to enjoy nature and learn a bit about native plants while doing satisfying work.

Please be aware that youth below high school age would be too young for the type of work which will be done in this event.
