Kiwanis Memorial Preserve Park - Heron Habitat Helpers Kiwanis …10/23/2021

Activities

Join Heron Habitat Helpers as we continue restoring habitat for urban wildlife in Seattle's Kiwanis Memorial Preserve! Kiwanis Ravine is home to numerous bird species, amphibians, mountain beavers, and other wildlife, and it's an important green buffer for the great blue heron nesting colony at the Locks. We will clear the trail at the Ohman Place Overlook, then walk around the ravine to see the other sites our volunteers work on and the progress they've made. If you stick with us for the whole circuit, it's a bit over a mile.
