DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Long ago, Ravenna park was an old growth forest with a hot spring, a salmon run, and a big Doug Fir called the "big stick." We are working to slowly restore the park to something like its original glory. The area by the bridge is a spot we worked hard at clearing last year, and it now contains a few little doug firs and native ferns, but the blackberry and ivy is trying to make a comeback. This event is to go over it again and suppress it.
