Activities

Come help restore a native habitat for birds and other animals by removing invasive ivy and blackberry in the heart of South Seattle. Enjoy the added benefit of relaxing in a beautiful forest while getting to know your coworkers. Join us to help restore Cheasty so future generations can enjoy the old growth conifer forest that you helped restore. We will also be adding mulch around recently planted trees to help them survive through the dry summer months. This will be year 12 for SITC at Cheasty!

What to Bring

- Water
- Thick gloves if you want to pull ivy and blackberry
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty, as some of the work will be in wet, muddy areas
We will provide tools, and if you forget gloves, we have some to lend.
