A lot of new plantings need help to survive the coming dry summer. We will reduce competition from weeds and put a blanket of wood chips around them to keep the soil moist.

What to Bring

Dress for the weather, sturdy shoes or boots and bring a water bottle. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended. We'll have tools and gloves, if needed.

Where to Meet

We'll meet on 25th Ave. S at the corner of Hanford street and the Hanford steps.

Where to Park

Park on 25th Ave. S. Do not valuables in the car. The light rail station Mount Baker is a short walk away.
