Kubota Gardens Natural Area - Mapes Creek Stewardship Practice06/07/2026

Activities

These events are less about work and more about connecting and learning. We spent last summer getting introduced to the land, the creek, and the way humans and creatures move around and interact.

To continue this introduction and be able to move more clearly and safely, our next focus is foot path. Other activities: tend our plant nursery, ivy, and making art.

We will open with a site tour and project introduction this project and what it offers in the realm of re-indigenizing land stewardship.

Folks are welcome to come in and out for any duration of the event window, but consider that the site tour is offered only at the beginning of the event.

Snacks and warm drinks provided 🍵 Please bring cup/bowl/utensils
