DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Capehart Forest is the most wildlife-safe area in Discovery Park. Intensive efforts have been underway for many years to manage the forest that protects wildlife, including replacement of non-native plants with natives. Native plants are vulnerable in the first year or two after planting, and you can help us increase survival rates and biodiversity by joining this work party to weed invasive plants like bedstraw and grass; both are putting at risk the small native plants put into the ground last fall and winter.
