SUMMARY: Event Camas prairie restoration
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:We'll be working to maintain a special project of the Muckleshoot tribe and UW environmental science department. During the academic year, students will work in this area to create a camas prairie resplendent with plants that are culturally important to the Muckleshoot tribe including camas flowers, nodding wild onion, and more. Once established, this prairie will serve as a source for future restorations in the Puget Sound region. 

Weeds need to be knocked back this summer to keep previous efforts on track. Please join us to help remove thistle and invasive grasses. We'll also add more mulch. 

During the work party, we can talk about the multi-year project, learn about the plants, and the history of the area.
