DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Come and join me for some some overdue maintenance of this highly-visited portion of Discovery Park! Junes Cathedral is a beautiful parcel with shady conifer stands, giant maple trees, and sunny meadows. Today we will be cutting back and digging up the aggressive Himalayan blackberry patch that's rapidly spreading into the adjacent meadow. Later in the fall, we'll be planting the areas we've cleared with native plants, to provide food and habitat for the park's many species.
