SUMMARY: Event Ryan's Ridge wood chip spreading
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Most of the blackberries have been removed from the extensive Ryan's Ridge site which parallels the parade grounds road, so the final step in the summer restoration process is to cover all bare ground with wood chips to keep seedlings from sprouting. About 1/2 of the necessary work is hauling wood chips and 1/2 of the work is pulling and digging up blackberry resprouts. All of this is in preparation for planting in November.
