SUMMARY: Event June's Cathedral Planting and Meadowscaping
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:All our work in the fall is paying off! This site has been completely rejuvenated - freed from blackberry and ivy, we can now set it on a healthy course. Today we'll be finishing our fall planting and laying the groundwork for a new wildflower meadow. We still have that donated 8' Doug Fir, some Western Red Cedars, and a nice assortment of shrubs and perennials to get into the ground. For the wildflower meadow, we'll be laying out some tarps to smother the weeds and digging a trench around them to prevent root intrusion, covering the whole thing with mulch, and letting it sit until next fall.
