Activities

We'll prep the orchard and forest for the upcoming season, while working on improving trail access into the woods. We'll spruce up the park, plus put burlap and wood chips/mulch in place to protect cleared areas under restoration. We'll also plant some good-sized native flowering plants that have been potted and tended for a few years, that were provided by the Green Seattle Partnership.

What to Bring

Bring a water bottle and a snack. Wear good shoes, long pants. All tools will be provided.

Where to Meet

In the parking lot at Dr. Jose Rizal Park (1007 12th Avenue South), by the benches near the big cotton wood tree just off the middle of the parking lot.

Where to Park

There is parking in the lot at the park, plus street parking. As this is a holiday, parking should be pretty easy.
