Activities

Let's get together and plant some native plants, pull invasive weeds, and spread some mulch to make our forested areas of Genesee Park healthier. No experience required! Tools, training, and gloves are provided. (This event is weather dependent - it might be cancelled due to high winds or freezing temperatures, so please sign up with your email address to get notices!)

What to Bring

Bring a filled water bottle, and wear shoes and clothes you don't mind getting muddy. Rain pants and a rain jacket are recommended!

Where to Meet

Meet near the upper soccer fields at the southern-most end of the park, up the hill from the parking lot and restrooms. Look for the signs that say "Green Seattle Partnership Event" - and see the map above.

Where to Park

Park in the Genesee Park parking lot on the south side of Genesee Street at 43rd Ave S.
