Join us this Earth day for EarthGAY in Colman Park. Friends of Colman Park is partnering with LGBTQ organizations to get dirty, make friends, and celebrate Earthday the LGBTQ way. This event is open to - everyone - and we hope to see you there. Please note that registration for this event is not through CEDAR, but by following this link: click here

Plan on arriving 15 minutes before the event to allow time for parking and to walk to the event site.

What to Bring

Dress appropriately for the weather. Long pants and closed-toed shoes you don't mind getting dirty are required, bring a rain jacket in case of rain. Bring a full water bottle, we will have water available for refills. Light refreshments will be served. Tools, gloves, and training will be provided. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Waiver Form before participating in their first work party. This form can be found here: click here

Where to Meet

Upper Colman Park near the green P-Patch Shed. Signs will be planted throughout the park, follow the signs!

Ample parking can be found near the following addresses:

Park anywhere along 31st near this address. Follow signs down stairs to the site. There is a guard rail where bicyclists can lock bikes. Bus Route 14 conveniently stops a few blocks from this entrance.

1521 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, 98144
Park anywhere near this address on Lake Washington Blvd S between S Massachusetts Street and S Day Street. From this location walk south down Lake Washington Blvd into Colman Park. Make a right at the first bridge and follow the path up to the P-Patch shed. Follow the signs!
