Activities

Come to Madrona Woods in east-central Seattle to help longtime volunteers remove invasive vegetation from the natural area next to Lake Washington. We may also plant some Pacific Madrone (arbutus menziesii) that was raised from seed.

What to Bring

Wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate layered clothing. You should be OK with everything you wear getting dirty. We provide tools and snacks. To be extra prepared, please bring a filled water bottle.

Where to Meet

Meet at the kiosk across the street from 1103 Grand Ave (use this address as GPS destination). This is on the north side of Madrona Woods, where Grand Ave becomes Spring St.

Where to Park

Park on Spring St, east (uphill) from the meeting place. You can also park on Lake Washington Blvd below, in the "cutout" parking area on the west side of the street.
