Join a team of seniors from Seattle's East African community along with Tilth staff and neighbors as we restore 3 acres of wetlands and forests on Seattle's largest urban farm. Bring a dish to share for our community lunch afterwards!

What to Bring

Dress for work and the weather: long pants,long-sleeved shirts, rubber boots or sturdy shoes, and rain gear. Tools, gloves, and water will be provided, but bring any food you’d like—and a water bottle.

Where to Meet

Enter through the gate on Cloverdale St. If arriving by bus you can enter through the walking gate in Beer Sheva Park. Walk to the back of Beer Sheva Park toward the chainlink fence on the east edge. Look for a large, flowery metal gate and walk toward the greenhouses.

For public transit, the farm is a 20 minute walk from the Rainier Beach light rail stop at MLK & Henderson, and can also be reached via bus route 106.

Where to Park

Some parking can be found on the site when entering on Cloverdale St. Please carpool or take public transportation if at all possible because parking is limited!
