Activities
With Summer in full swing, the preparations for Fall planting begins. We will be removing grasses, weeds and invasive plants along the new trail line and creating trail edges with downed timber. Come and see out new trails and enjoy the cool shade of the tree cover as we work to restore new sections of the park.
We welcome the Group from VOICE for this event. VOICE (Volunteer Outreach in Communities Everywhere) and SVP (Summer Volunteer Program) provide structured group community service opportunities to Mercer Island middle and high school age youth.

22 out of 20 participants registered.
What to Bring
Working out in the elements requires the right apparel. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required, bring a rain jacket just in case we work rain or shine, expect to get dirty. Bring a full water bottle, we will have water available for refills. Tools, gloves, and training will be provided. We also provide granola bars for a snack. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Waiver Form before participating in their first work party. This form can be found on the log in page for registration.

1120 15th Ave. S. Meet at the kiosk on Golf Dr. S, just north of the junction of 15th Ave. S. and 14th Ave S. across from the #36 and #60 Pac Med bus stop.
