Lewis Park - Lewis Park Restoration Event07/08/2018

Activities

With Summer in full swing, the preparations for Fall planting begins. We will be removing grasses, weeds and invasive plants along the new trail line and creating trail edges with downed timber. Come and see out new trails and enjoy the cool shade of the tree cover as we work to restore new sections of the park.

We welcome the Group from VOICE for this event. VOICE (Volunteer Outreach in Communities Everywhere) and SVP (Summer Volunteer Program) provide structured group community service opportunities to Mercer Island middle and high school age youth.
