Come pull ivy and invasive blackberry with us at Genesee Park. This forest, that borders the meadow, hasn't seen restoration work in several years. Be a part of this new beginning. Children are encouraged to join in.

What to Bring

Please bring a water bottle and dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes and long sleeves to protect against blackberry thorns.

Where to Meet

Meet near the picnic pavilion on the meadow side of the park, north of Genesee St., towards Lake Washington. Look for the blue tent.

Where to Park

Parking is available along 43rd Ave. or in the gravel lot next to the Parks Dept Maintenance Facility on Genesee St.
