Discovery Park - Capehart trail corridor planting …12/08/2018

We will be planting groundcover plants alongside the new Capehart trails in anticipation of opening to the public in spring 2019. This trail enhancement program will further enhance the remarkable trail that is being currently built by Seattle Conservation Corp, thanks to funding via the Dept of Neighborhoods and Seattle Parks Foundation
Adults only
20 out of 50 participants registered.
What to Bring
Lunch, water, work gloves, work boots, hand trowel, shovel
Where to Meet
At the gated entrance of the Capehart along Discovery Park Blvd. There is no parking on site. We encourage you to hike. We will also be shuttling people from the South Parking lot every 15 minutes starting at 9 am. To hike to the site from the South Parking lot takes about 10-15 minutes. There is a sani-can on site. Bring your water, lunch supplies hand trowel, kneeling pad and yellow safety vest if you have one. We will provide shovels for digging holes.
