Activities
We will begin work on a new planting area on the west side of the lake by grubbing out invasive Himalayan blackberry canes. This will be ouchy work what with the spiky thorns on the canes, so come ready to endure a thorn scratch or two.

Arrive wearing your cloth face covering. You will be expected to keep it on through
the entire event. If you forget a mask, extras will be available. Unfortunately, we
are unable to provide water and snacks during our events. Please come prepared with
your own water bottle and food. You are welcome to bring your own hand sanitizer,
work gloves, and specific tools applicable to the tasks outlined in the work plan
below (please no power equipment). We will also supply gloves, tools, hand sanitizer,
well as sanitation spray for tools.
What to Bring
We will have gloves and tools, but bring your favorites along if you prefer. Please bring water to keep hydrated and a snack to keep energized.
Where to Meet
We will meet on the south end of the lake near the concrete bleachers of the old Aqua Theater, across from the Pitch and Putt golf course. Look for wheelbarrows and tools and orange-vested stewards and Seattle Green Partnership Event signs.
Where to Park
There are parking lots on West Green Lake Way N. around and across the street from the Small Craft Center at 5900 W Green Lake Way N.
