Seward Park - MLK Day of Service …01/21/2019

Join us for a day of restoration of
Clark's Prairie in Seward Park. We will be pulling up invasive Himalayan blackberry roots and placing wood chip mulch over an area scheduled for replanting with native shrubs in the Fall of 2019. Be a part of our kickoff 2019 Reforestation plan!

What to Bring

Footwear and clothing suitable for muddy, wet conditions. We will meet rain or shine. Work gloves will be provided. Bring a water bottle and we will have a water jug on site for refills.

Where to Meet

Picnic Shelter #3 in UPPER Seward Park. After entering Seward Park and circling past the Audubon Center, continue north and take the Right fork up the hill. Take the first RH turn and enter the Picnic Shelter #3 parking area. Park, and look for the group at the picnic table area.

Where to Park

There is ample parking at Picnic Shelter #3.
