Join the Arbutus ARME on Saturday morning to celebrate all-things Pacific madrone! In this session, we will focus on tree identification, forest ecology, pathogens, conservation and restoration efforts. We will also introduce everyone to the TreeSnap app to survey and map madrone anywhere and everywhere.
This program is brought to you by Seattle Parks and Recreation in partnership with Washington State University Extension Plant Pathology Program.

Arrive wearing your cloth face covering. You will be expected to keep it on through
the entire event. If you forget a mask, extras will be available. Unfortunately, we
are unable to provide water and snacks during our events. Please come prepared with
your own water bottle and food. You are welcome to bring your own hand sanitizer,
work gloves, and specific tools applicable to the tasks outlined in the work plan
below (please no power equipment). We will also supply gloves, tools, hand sanitizer,
well as sanitation spray for tools.
What to Bring
Feel free to bring a light snack and come prepared for a short walk outside. Please bring a mobile device to download the TreeSnap App click here if you are interested in learning more about submitting data related to madrone health.
