Activities

This is a great opportunity to get to know your neighbors, and/or get some community service hours while contributing to the beauty of our neighborhood! We'll continue the great progress we've made pulling invasive weeds to make room for beautiful native plants. Make sure to wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty, dress in layers. Tools and instruction provided, no experience necessary!

What to Bring

Bring a filled water bottle, wear long pants, close-toed shoes, a long-sleeved shirt, and rain gear. Bring your own favorite work gloves, more gloves and tools will be provided.

Where to Meet

Meet near the trees up the hill from the soccer fields at Genesee Park. From the paved parking lot on the south side of S Genesee Street, walk up the hill past the fields and restrooms to the forest, and look for our signs.

Where to Park

Park at the paved parking lot at S Genesee St and 43rd Ave S. If you are at the gravel parking lot, you are in the WRONG SPOT! Cross Genesee street and park in the lot nearest the synthetic turf playfields.
