With Spring comes the prospect of warmer weather, more sun and the budding of the trees and flowers. Also with Spring comes the nuisance of weeds and overgrowth of other plants. We look at this time as Spring Cleaning in the Park time. We will continue to weed, remove grass, spread amended soils and mulch on the north end of the park
We welcome back the group from Kavana to help us with this needed element of establishment of the newest of the native plants put into the ground over Winter.

What to Bring

Working out in the elements requires the right apparel. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are required, bring a rain jacket just in case we work rain or shine. Bring a full water bottle, we will have water available for refills. Tools, gloves, and training will be provided. We also provide granola bars. All volunteers under 18 are required to bring a Youth Waiver Form before participating in their first work party. This form can be found on the log in page for registration.

Where to Meet

Meet at the New Madrone Gathering Area on Golf Dr. S, just north of the junction of Golf Dr. S and 14th Ave, where Golf Dr. becomes 15th Ave. S., across from the #36 and #60 Pac Med bus stop.
