Roxhill Park - Duwamish Alive! Saving Our …10/19/2019

Activities

What can I do to help save our salmon and orca? This is a question we should be considering, especially now during the fall season and the return of spawning salmon in our river and its streams. Recent media stories have highlighted the plight of our Southern Resident orcas and describe how they are struggling to survive. Understanding how our collective actions and efforts are connected to the health of these whales, the salmon they depend on and the ecosystems that support all of us – it is important to remain focused and hopeful for the future. YOU CAN HELP by joining us for Duwamish Alive! to improve critical salmon habitat within the Green-Duwamish River watershed that salmon depend upon.

At Roxhill Park Bog and Natural Area, we will be focusing on removing invasive weeds and trash.
