Activities

Our salmon are returning, help improve this critical salmon habitat site along the Duwamish River which provides food and shelter that young salmon need in the spring as they journey to the ocean. Volunteers will be removing invasive plants and replacing them with native plants while learning about our river and its wildlife.

What to Bring

Please wear comfortable clothing that you can work in, shoes with good treads (no open toed footwear), weather appropriate gear. Bring work gloves if you prefer your own and a water bottle. Check the weather report since we will be working come sun or rain.

Where to Park

Event parking will be in the Seattle Public Utilities lot next to Herrings House Park. Please let the attendant know you are a volunteer.
