Colman Park - The Season of Planting …12/08/2019

Activities

Our first planting event on Nov 3 was a great success, but there's still more to do! Come join us as we work to get the remaining trees and shrubs into the ground for this season. We still have over 300 plants we need to get into the ground before the rains and to ensure they have the best chance of survival. We would love to have you come spend the morning with us learning about and planting our urban forests.

All ages OK

6 out of 30 participants registered.

What to Bring

Long pants and closed-toed shoes you don't mind getting dirty are required. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring a full water bottle, we will have water available for refills. Light refreshments will be served. Tools, gloves, and training will be provided.

Where to Meet

Meet at 11 AM by the kiosk in the parking lot of Colman Park. The Lot is located just off Lake Washington Blvd, near the water. You can use the address 1732 Lakeside Ave. S. in Google maps to find the location as well.
We will walk from here up to the work site, and will place signs to help you find us if you are running late.

Where to Park

There is parking available in the lot where we meet. If that lot is full, you can park down the street at the Mt Baker Beach parking lot (approx 1/4 mile away). You can use the address 2521 Lake Park Drive S. in Google Maps to find directions here as well.
