Thanks for your interest in volunteering with GSP! However, as Seattle Parks and Recreation and the Green Seattle Partnership work to do our part in slowing the spread of COVID-19 to the most vulnerable individuals, we are cancelling volunteer programs starting March 13 and going through April 13. Please continue to check back here for updated information and opportunities to get involved as soon as we are cleared to restart volunteer events. If you have any other questions during this time regarding volunteering, please reach out to

Burke-Gilman Trail - Habitat Restoration along BG ...01/20/2020

Habitat Restoration and Enhancement; an effort to bring this area back to a more natural environment for all to enjoy and feel safe. Learn more about who we are, how you can help, and understand further the focus of 'GSP'. We typically clear areas of invasive plants, prune existing native plants for better growth, plant a few native plants, and spread mulch to support healthy soil and plant growth. On this day we will mostly spread wood chips, and add a few native plants along the trail. Come by and help out when you can. Thank you for your time and interest.
