Maple Wood Playfield - April in Beacon Hill! …04/18/2021
SUNDAY MORNING SESSION. We'll be removing invasive plants from a beautiful site behind the popular Maple Wood Playfield. We may do some mulching. Last year's labor will be evident with many new plant installations and weeding, but it'll take a lot of work to keep up the momentum.
This is a special place to see some Oregon ash, swaths of fringe cup and perhaps our resident Cooper's hawk (working on a new nest since last year).
Open to the public
All ages OK
7 out of 10 volunteers registered.
Before attending this event, please watch our COVID-19 Volunteer Event Safety Video -
