Join us for EarthGAY 2021 in Colman Park. Green Seattle Partnership and Friends of Colman Park are partnering with LGBTQ organizations to get dirty, make friends, and celebrate the Earth the queer way. This event is open to - everyone - and we hope to see you there.

What to Bring

Please bring a reusable water bottle and wear long pants and closed toed shoes. We will provide all tools and materials as well as some light refreshments COVID permitting.

Where to Meet

Lower Colman Park. The official meeting spot is in the interior of the park and is accessible only by foot. Signs will direct you, follow the signs! Plan on arriving 15 minutes early to allow time for parking and to walk to the event site.

Where to Park

BIKES
There is a guard rail where bicyclists can lock bikes at the meeting location within the park.

BUS
Bus Route 27 can drop you a few blocks away from Lower Colman. Look for signs or find Colman Park beach and you'll find us.
Alternatively, Bus 14 can drop you near the top of Colman Park. It's then a 10 minute walk through the park to meet us - starting with the stairway into the park on 31st Ave S, just follow the paths (always going downhill) and you'll find us.

There are three nearby parking locations we suggest as well as additional parking in the residential areas surrounding the park.

Colman Beach Parking Lot

From this parking lot walk north, going up a short set of stairs to meet the sidewalk that runs along Lake Washington BLVD on the lakeside. Continue on this sidewalk, walking north until you see signs for the event.

After parking, walk south on Lake Washington Blvd S. toward Colman Park (Lake Washington Blvd winds through the park). Follow the signs for the event.
